Romp Around the Yard & Birthdays

Back at the beginning of November, before the snow, we went over to Mom's house to celebrate Aaron's 30th birthday.  While Uncle Aaron worked on Grandpa's truck, we played outside.
Our darling little boy loves to be outside.  He find sticks, he climbs walls,

he'll run,
and he'll run
and he'll run!  I kept trying to get pictures of him standing still or at least running towards me, but most of my pictures look like this...a clear shot of his back!!
He knows what the mower and wagon are.  Well, he knows that PaPa (Grandpa) rides the mower, and he gets to ride in the wagon.  Or on Grandpa's lap.  He is very adamant about taking rides whenever possible and isn't afraid to tell Grandpa so.
A fleeting moment in which Xander's standing still!
This is the expression we see when he's exploring  - this is the "ooh" and "wooow" face. :)
This kept him occupied for awhile, when he noticed his reflection.
And this was a real fun game...climbing over, back and forth on the porch swing frame.  Over and over and over.
Helping Great-Grandpa make birthday treats for Aaron.
And by helping, I of course mean eating. :)
Playing the piano with Grandma.
And now comes the singing and birthday cake!  Lights are dimmed...ooh...look at those candles!
Yeah, not so happy about the candles.  This really startled him.  We quickly sang and Aaron blew out the candles.  Then all was right with the world.
Oops...nope, we have to sing to Uncle Martin, too!

After a little bit of cake and cuddle time with his uncle, he was all better!
